There are plenty of sights you can see in London and some tours that visit palaces outside the city to engulf oneself in the long long history of the Royal Family. If your time is short then check out Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abby. One will see some of the other top sights with the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben right near Westminster Abby.
